This is when Mr. Borker, the coach of the Baer Machine cut Jason from the baseball team. He said it would be better for him if he played on the team because he would get a lot more playing time. I have never been cut from a team so I can’t say what he is going through but I imagine it can’t feel good. Even though Jason has played with this team his whole life he still has a chance to play on another team, in this book they call it the expansion team. The problem with the expansion team is there is no sponsor or coach. I predict Jason will like his new team a lot better and he will find a coach and a sponsor for the new expansion team. Jason loves baseball cards so he went to the Grandstand a sports card shop to buy some cards. He goes there a lot so he was talking to the owner Jim about how he got cut from the team and what he is going to do. In the mean time Jim would like to sponsor the new team. Now all Jason needs to do is find a coach? He wanted Jim to do it but he said he was to busy. I think that the coach will end up being Mr. Henry because he knows a lot about baseball and helped Jason run faster to first just by watching and seeing what the problem was.

yea i have been cut from alot of stuff. football, baseball, life. i dont whine about it though. i predict that this kid turns out to be a little girl. he needs to look on the brightside of life. thats what i do. it works, i would know.
