Firestorm, (2nd post)

“And Kerry Murphy had survived Firestorm. The knowledge was a bitter pill on his tongue. Before, she has been a mere inconvenience, a possible threat, but now she was a symbol of his failure, the child’s failure. He could feel his rage begin to sear like acid.”

Everyone close to Kerry was getting hurt! His first attempt to kill her had failed. This made him more eager than ever to get his revenge because she had survived his trap. He called his disasters “the child.” He created something so powerful that it could whip out cities in two hours and nothing could put the fire out. He had the greatest power in the world and uses it against whoever stands in his way. He will do anything to keep people away (good people, who stop fires: Kerry.) He will stop at nothing, and so many people around him are being hurt and killed because they are in the way of his project. He wants world power; and with Firestorm he can achieve it. Now Kerry and Brad Silver are out to find him, but the threat is, will he find them first. He can go into people’s heads too, not a controller like Silver but he can “find people.” Kerry is at risk and so is everyone around her. She will have to watch every move before he gets to her first. She is bound and determined to stop him, and now she had incentive. Trask hurt someone very close to her and it seems the numbers of victims she is close to are piling up. The three of them: Kerry, Brad, and Trask, all fighting for a victory; who’s power will overcome the other?
